Online psychotherapy and counselling where you stay in the pilot’s seat
A safe, non-judgmental place to be heard and seen. I work with adults across the UK online, face to face in Exeter, and outdoors on walk and talk sessions, using transactional analysis therapy.
I trained with Paul and found him to be kind, grounded, and genuinely supportive. He brings warmth, clarity, and care to his work, with a natural ability to put people at ease. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for a therapist they can trust.

Paul is a gentle and empathic therapist. He has a great capacity to be with people in the hardest of times. I highly recommend Paul, especially to neurodivergent clients, as he understands the way neurodiversity intersects with other life experiences.

Hello, I’m Paul
I started out as a youth worker twenty-five years ago. A growing awareness of mental health struggles, especially among young people, led me to retrain as a psychotherapist, and I’ve now worked in community mental health for over ten years.
I use transactional analysis because it puts you and me on an equal footing. I think of my role as a co-pilot in your plane: you stay at the controls, and together we learn how it flies.
