Therapy on quiet countryside footpaths just east of Exeter, with a rest on a bench with views over the city. Many people find it easier to talk side by side.
One-to-one sessions of 50 minutes, tailored to what you want to change, from stress and low self-esteem to depression, anxiety, relationships and trauma.
A space for two people to understand how they relate to each other. Get in touch to talk through whether this is right for you.
Group work by arrangement. Contact me to ask about what’s available and who it would suit.
It’s a relaxed conversation by phone or video call. You describe what you’d like to change in your life, ask any questions about therapy and how it works, and we both get a feel for whether we’d work well together.
The initial chat is free. After that, sessions are £60 for 50 minutes. Concessionary and student rates can be made available for online and walk and talk sessions, depending on circumstances and availability, so please ask. Because of the cost of room hire, I’m not usually able to offer them for face-to-face sessions.
No. There’s no obligation or expectation that you’ll continue seeing me if it doesn’t feel like a good fit.
We meet by video call on Zoom. You’ll need a device with a camera and a connection you can rely on, and a private space where you can talk freely. More about online sessions.
Transactional analysis (TA) helps you better understand yourself and, as a result, feel more in control of your life. It emphasises equality between client and therapist. I describe my role as a co-pilot: you’re at the controls and we learn together how your plane works. Read more about TA.
I’m a Contractual Trainee in TA Psychotherapy with UKATA. I’m working towards becoming a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA), but I’m not one yet. This means therapy with me can’t count towards the personal therapy hours required for your TA training.
For your hours to count, UKATA’s policy is that your personal therapy should normally be with a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, ideally a CTA (Psychotherapy) who is also UKCP registered. Please check your training establishment’s requirements before booking.
